Knockaloe Beg Farm offers farm accommodation in a unique secluded location with excellent views. Close to the beach and a walk to Peel but with the advantage of lovely comfortable en-suite rooms and a very warm welcome from the Anderson family. Three types of accommodation in one location with Award winning 4* Gold Guest House and self-catering plus a more budget bunkhouse room. Plenty of access to the farm for those that wish or time to just relax in a beautiful setting.
Knockaloe Beg Farm offers three types of accommodation in one stunning setting. The 4* Gold Award winning Guest House boasts five en-suite rooms all with really comfortable zip and link super king size beds making flexible room set ups. The Farm is half a mile up a lane giving it a secluded feel whilst also being only minutes drive from the historically significant City of Peel. Peel offers many activities and eating places as well as a beautiful beach Castle and golf-course. The views from the Farmhouse are uninterrupted across to the hills in the centre of the Island. The guests have sole use of a spacious lounge with plenty of comfy seating and a wood-burning stove. Award winning breakfast is served around a circular oak table where the choice of food is wide and varied. Much of the breakfast is home grown and home-made with our own milk eggs preserves tomatoes and fruit. The majority of produce used is locally sourced organic and Fairtrade where possible. In keeping with our high level of environmental awareness we use natural fibres with goose down duvets and pillows Egyptian cotton sheets and line dried towels! Recently Knockaloe Beg has been awarded the highest level of Green Tourism Award going in at Gold. The Guest House bedrooms are fitted out in a farmhouse style with plenty of added extras like spare toiletries dressing gowns and slippers DVDs to borrow complimentary drinks and home-made biscuits. Alternative accommodation is in the Upper Room Bunkhouse a large airy dormitory style room sleeping up to eight in bunkbeds. There are limited cooking facilities a TV / DVD with large screen projector and four comfortable sofas to relax in. The dining table and chairs make simple living very easy here access to the fields behind the bunk room give space to have BBQ's on fine evenings. For those wanting more independence Knockaloe Beg also has a 4* Gold six person self-catering cottage with three en-suite bedrooms and a large living room with wood-burning stove.

The Upper Room Bunk Barn is accessed through a barn which has been made into a picnic room for groups visiting Knockaloe Beg Farm. Up a wooden staricase you come to the 19m x 5m wide bunk room which retains many of the old A-frame beams. At one end are 2 sets of bunk beds and two single beds. Each has a small bedside cabinet and there are two chests of drawers. Each bed is made up with a sheet and pillows. Duvets and towels can be provided at a small extra charge. The room is divided by the wood-burning stove and dining table with six chairs. Next to the table is a small area for tea and coffee making with a cupboard to store picnic food. There is a little fridge microwave toaster and kettle plus bottled water. At the far end are three settees and a large screen with DVD projector. The toilet and shower are located across the yard. The bunk barn is only suitable for groups who know each other as it is one big space with no individual bedrooms. The windows look into our barn where the ponies and sheep spend the night!
